Usage
Pyromellitic Dianhydride can be used for manufacturing polyimide resin, which is used as a raw material for high-temperature resistant electrical insulation paint. It is also used to produce epoxy resin curing agents and plasticizers, urea formaldehyde resin stabilizers, phthalocyanine blue dyes, corrosion inhibitors, instant binders, electronic photography toners, etc.
Pyromellitic Dianhydrideand its derivatives have a wide range of applications. PMDA is mainly used as a curing agent for epoxy resin, a raw material for polyimide, and a crosslinking agent for polyester resin to produce homopolymer polyetherimine resin.
